连接ing to WiFi at WVC

The 皇冠8868会员登录 Valley College 无线网络 Network provides free wireless Internet access to any member of the college community with a student or staff logon account 和 a 无线网络 capable device.

If you're familiar with accessing 无线网络, go to your device 无线网络 settings 和 select WVC WiFi. 登录:

For more information on 无线网络, continue reading the instructions below. 

无线网络 access is widely available throughout both WVC 校园es.  While most areas will have excellent coverage, there may be a few areas where signal is weak.

  • From a 无线网络 capable device, open the 无线网络 control panel on your laptop or device.
  • Select WVC WiFi from the list of available connections.
  • Your device will connect 和 redirect you to a browser for authentication.
  • Login with your WVC username 和 密码. (工作人员 will need to use their email address as their username.)
  • After login, your device will be connected to the network.
  • Your device should remember the settings 和 automatically connect when you are on 校园.

Consider the following issues when using the wireless network:

  • 安全: Although you are protected from threats on the open Internet by the WVC firewall, your computer is still vulnerable to other WVC wireless users.  Use this network at 风险自负.  Protect yourself by loading current antivirus software on your computer. 
  • 适当的使用:  The 无线网络 Network is intended to be used for educational, class related purposes.  Please refrain from using the 无线网络 network for entertainment 和 personal use.
  • 使用政策:  Users of the WVC wireless network (WVC 无线网络) are held to the WVC Computer Lab Policy, WVC 可接受的使用 Policy, 和 all state 和 federal laws regarding acceptable use 和版权.  The Code of Student Conduct applies. 
  • 印刷: Wireless printing is not currently supported.
  • Under no circumstances is it ever acceptable to physically plug your personal equipment into the WVC Network.
